Sotra Sportsklubb was one of 191 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Adidas Cup 2021. They participated with four teams in Gutter 13 (2008), Gutter 14 (2007), Gutter 15 (2006) and Jenter 15 (2006) respectively. The team in Gutter 13 (2008) made it to the the 1/4 Final in Slutspill A, but lost it against Bjarg, IL by 1-3.

In addition to this, Sotra Sportsklubb have participated in Adidas Cup before. During Adidas Cup 2020, Sotra had 5 teams playing in Gutter 13 (2007), Gutter 14 (2006), Gutter 16 (2004), Jenter 13 (2007) and Jenter 15 (2005) respectively.

Sotra comes from Straume which lies approximately 310 km from Gjøvik, where Adidas Cup takes place. The area around Straume does also provide 26 additional clubs participating during Adidas Cup 2021 (Among others: Sandviken, IL, Bjarg, IL, Minde IL, Gneist, IL, Varegg / sandviken, Fana Fotball, Nest-Sotra Fotball, Loddefjord IL, Smørås IL and Søreide Idrettslag).
